Dr Alvernia is a fantastic serguon. He was very helpful to my family before and after my surgery. Him and all his staff are really good people and take very good care of you. I knew he did good work because I helped care for some of his post op patients before he did my craniotomy. I only spent a week in the hospital from admission to discharge. I had brain surgery for Glioblastoma stage 4 brain cancer and today, 21 months post op, Im doing great.
Five stars to the staff at Dr. Alvernia's office. Their kindness, thoughtfulness, and genuine interest overwhelmed me. They made me feel my health concerns were important to them. After speaking to Dr. Alvernia's nurse, I felt comfort and hope and not dismissed because I am in my 70s.
I heard about and was recommend to go see Dr. Alvernia over the Baton Rouge, NeuroMedical Center. He was very informative and courteous and thoroughly explained my symptoms. I definitely would recommend to family and friends.
No wait time and spent much time with me and my mother explaining things to us. I would recommend Dr Alvernia to anyone looking for a caring doctor and staff.
DR ALVERNIA DID MY FATHER IN LAWS BACK SURGERY AND DID THE MOST AMAZING JOB. MY FIANCE ALSO SEEN HIM IN THE OFFICE AND HELPED SO MUCH. DR ALVERNIA IS AMAZING AND I WOULD REFER EVERYONE TO HIM!!!!
I'm from Bastrop, LA. I was referred to Dr. Alvernia in 2015 for cervical pain and paresthesia. I found Dr. Alvernia to be very pleasant and attentive to my concerns. He was very thorough in his examination and recommendations for my continued care. I would recommend him very highly to everyone. I would return to him if the need ever arises.
Dr. Alvernia is very patient focused and truly connects with his patients. He is kind, considerate, and always makes you feel like he is recommending treatment as he would for his own family.
My first encounter with Dr. Alvernia was a great one! Compassionate and ready to assist.
He saved my husband's life by coming to hospital quickly to remove a subdural hematoma, Excellent communication with family & patient and great rapport with staff. So far we have not seen him in office, only at hospital.
