About this business
Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

I've been to the JPJ many times. Everytime its a great experience. The staff and facilities are amazing. Can't wait to get back for another event.

Everyone was super polite!! From the security outside of JPJA to the ushers inside!! Even their basketball team was awesome letting my team beat them on their own court. Thank You All for a great time!!
I think that you have a good atmosphere and love your team. Your facilities are very nice and clean. Only one bad person in your crowd but you have that no matter where you go. Overall I enjoyed it and would highly recommend any of our fans to return there. Thank you and God bless.
