About this business
Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

It's a nice arena with easy access to all areas- The staff is also very nice and helpful , which is not always the case at other arenas - GO WAHOOS !!!

The staff working the Carrie Underwood concert this past weekend was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Very impressed.

The Carrie Underwood show was great. The staff was vey nice. Being on the tall side the leg room in the seats was less then desirable. Otherwise a very pleasant night.
