Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

When I tried to go to the stands on the main level, they refused to sell bottles, ev... read more
My first time here and my daughter first concert. Our experience was phenomenal!!!!! We will definitely me back again but with the whole family. Wonderful time
The staff and parking attendants were very kind and helpful, but the area cannot adequately accommodate large capacity events like the concert we attended last night. It took us almost an hour to traverse three blocks.
I had two small kids with me 9 & 11. I was worried at first but parking was great and coordinated even for the weather. Entry was super fast and simple for prebought tickets. We had balcony seats which were great for the kids. Overall best out come for our group. Thank you!!!
We were in traffic for two hours getting the runaround by the cops directing traffic. Didn't realize the parking lots were cash only, I forgot I was going to have to pay extra for parking, so I didn't bring any cash, decided to try to park in the garage (because most garages take credit/debit cards) only to get up there and be told that it was prepaid only, so I had to get into my third line of traffic, after finally finding an ATM machine, and by then the parking was all taken up, so we had to park a mile away, and walk in ... read more
