About this business
Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

Really enjoyed the Florida Georgia Line Concert last night, and it was also my birthday, so added bonus. It was my first time at JPJ and I had a good time.
Nice Arena, very friendly staff, great seating and not too expensive when it comes to food and drink. Easy in and out if parked in low level of parking garage.
First time at the Arena for a concert. Very organized parking was good no trouble in or out . You just can't be in a hurry. Didn't care for the people in the lot afterwards tying to get you to buy stuff they are in your face to much . We will go back .
I went to see Florida Georgia line it was a awesome concert everyone on tour with them were equally talented. I have no complaints with the Arena it was my first time there all the staff were friendly got in quickly. My only complaint would be if I had one would be that parking is pricy $15 but for having had free concert tickets I should not complain.
We would not make another two hour drive one way to watch another concert there. Cops were ridiculous, like everyone's a college kid attitude. Cash garage is far from JPJ too. Thanks no thanks.
We were there for the fgl concert and didn't have any problems with it we had a blast thank you for making my son's first concert a really good experience !
WORST venue ever. They lied about the opener and forced concert-goers to wait an hour without the performance they paid for. NEVER attend an event or concert at JPJ.
