Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

Easy to navigate parking to seat less than 300 yards. Staff outstanding and helpful. The venue is top notch. Made the Def Leppard experience with Poison and Tesla that much more enjoyable.
Great venue for a concert. I was surprised at the lay out of the building...
Really nice venue. Parking was outrageous at $20. But that's the only bad thing we encountered.
I had an awesome time at the Def Leppard, Poison and Tesla concert last night. However the vendor stands could have been a little bit more organized. They were extremely slow.
This was my 1st st JPJ and loved it!! Everyone was wonderful and I would come back
Was one of the best concerts I've seen had an amazing time will return again
