Opened in the summer of 2006 to replace the aging University Hall, the University of Virginia now holds its basketball games, concerts and other events in this 16,000 seat arena. Built almost entirely from a private donation, it takes its name from a former alumni, and not the Revolutionary War naval hero. It shouldn't be hard for fans to find, since it's right across the street from the old facility.

Was so glad to see a smoking deck for the smokers so they would not be tempted to smoke in the concert. We were very pleased with the experience and will definitely return for another concert.
