My car was totaled and I was not liable for accident. I had to constantly be calling them and reminding them what to do. They could not locate my vehicle at one point and told me I could/would incur charges for storage. It took them 10 days to send me a replacement car seat for my toddler. After 5 pm today I will be without a vehicle because of them sending my settlement to the wrong email multiple times and waiting for call backs that never happened. My rental limit has not even been reached. I will be switching insurance c... read more

State Farms operates with Bad Faith practices when determining liability for claims. One of their insured clients pulled out of parking spot right into my sons on coming vehicle as my son was driving to leave a parking lot. The damage was to the front side of my sons vehicle and the back rear of their insured's vehicle. The investigator denied our claim and found my son at fault for the accident. Nobody with even the common sense of a 1st grader would consider my son liable for the accident. Their insured driver literally ba... read more

I wish I could give zero stars company sucks at costumer service I have waited over a month just for them to go take a look at my car and couldn’t find anything had to go and show them the damage because their experts in car inspection are not very good at inspecting cars that have caught on fire and it’s been over two months and still have to wait over a week to get a supplement approved that has been talked about since the beginning my monthly keep going higher about 100 every month what a trash company do not go with Stat... read more

After 20+ years with this office, they sent me a letter stating they were dropping us from their auto coverage. We have a son that was involved in two accidents that totaled his vehicles within a year. I totally understand why any insurance company would drop us, however, we were only notified by mail. In the decades of dealing with this company, they have always communicated with us in person and/or by email. Not once have we ever received a piece of mail without prior notification until they decided to “drop” us. We have u... read more

I had State Farm for all my policies for 40 years. They cancelled my car insurance after my car was totaled in a hit and run collision. The other driver was found and his insurance paid. The only recent claims beside these were for 2 battery "jumps" last spring on another vehicle I own. There was no good reason for State Farm to cancel me after the tens of thousands of dollars I have paid in premiums. They were also impossible to reach by phone to discuss my claim. My agent said he couldn't get through to the claims departme... read more

Statefarm repeatedly lied about the time period they need to get payment for my claim to us. They moved the goal post each time we called. Eventually doing an electronic deposit they failed to do something on their end because literally a minute I got off the phone furious at them we received payment. However because they kept delaying payment we repeatedly had to renew our rental racking up cost despite the fact our repairs were already completed and just awaiting payment. The call center was beyond useless and we had our c... read more

My claim experience has been a headache from start to finish (still not finalized). The phone lines are built to insulate the claim adjuster to their clients to prevent any clear, concise communication or transfer of information. They make excuses for being backed-up or behind on claims...

I work really hard for everything I have and I haven’t been pulled over or in an accident in two years. But yet I can’t seem to find an insurance less than $300. $300 is insane for one person to pay for one car. Absolutely insane. I’m getting really tired of paying most of my paycheck to companies like state farm and ***********.
