State Farm has been Consistently disappointing and unresponsive. I’m so glad they are not my insurance co. My car is at the only body shop that can repair it three hours from my home. It has been there 4 days so far and State Farm has yet to contact them so work can begin. I have made 15 calls to them to try to get assistance with no luck.

Hi, So my vehicle was stolen on 8/14/23. I was set up with a rental car thru ***** with my insurer being State Farm. I went , picked up the rental same or maybe the next day. My car was found with some damage so State Farm referred me to someone under them and they had my car up until late October!!! When I tell you I got so many threatening calls from the rental company due to lack of communication and extentions from State Farm! I’ve Had a couple of claims on my house and both times was water damage. State Farm denied both claims in which I felt they should have covered. So I will be looking at going to another company not to say that they will be any better. If they can spend the money to pay for these big time athletes for doing these commercials they can pay my claim… smh ….. State Farm is a joke … they take your money reinvest to make more money and leave you hanging ! State Farm you get a negative—5 stars Your Truly On my way out .

After initiating insurance on a vehicle I was denied for, I called and canceled the policy. I requested a refund and was told that it would have to be sent to me in a check in the mail. It has been over 30 days and I have yet to receive this check and when I make contact with the company, they continue to remind me that the mail could take 7 to 10 business days. This is people’s money they are playing with. I assure you that my policy would be cancelled if I exceeded 5 days of nonpayment yet they can hold my money for an ent... read more

State Farm Insurance is among the auto insurers that should consider a post-phone call "lock in" rate for premium. On November 3, 2023, I called a local SF Agent and received a 6 month premium quote. I called back 3 business days later, and was told the premium quote was correct. Five minutes later I received a call from the agent to indicate that the auto premium would be about $35 more. Late September we had basement sewer backup due to heavy rains. I was covered, ***** *** ** ********* handled clean up, EXCELLANT job. They sent me the bill, app $2350 which I gave to my Agent in Romulus, Mi. He then submitted to claims. End of Oct, I received a check for app $2850. I took the check to my agent, he told me it was mine to meet my coverage ammt. After 1 week, I cashed the check. About a week later I received a bill from ***** *** wanting payment. Another unsatisfied customer. These are not the kind of neighbors you like. Horrible customer service when you are most vulnerable after an auto-accident that they will get full subrogation from the responsible insurance company - The relationship is fully transactional for State Farm - if it does not make money for them, then its not the kind of relationship they want. Go another direction with your insurance services.

State Farm is terrible. They did not coordinate with the other insurance to make sure payment was made when repairs did not start for over 5 months. No response from the claim teams, no help from the Broker. I would not recommend these guys, especially the broker listed below Your State Farm Agent Randy Rhodes ******** ********

I called for a quote on a new policy. They couldn’t provide the policy but took the $930 out of my checking account. Now they are saying I have to wait 30 days for a refund on my money that they took by mistake !!!
