I have had insurance with State Farm for 28 years. The customer service has greatly declined. My home suffered damage from a windstorm in March 2023 and now October 2023 and the claim is still not resolved, therefore, my home still not repaired. Professionalism, communication, and timeliness are lacking significantly.
State farm will not stand up for you. They are looking out for the other person
We started a claim against State Farm on 2-20-23 and are still waiting for a payout. We've had to speak to several representatives in different departments and always receive a runaround. They deemed that my son was 20% responsible for the accident for driving through an intersection with a green light and their client turned in front of him after failing to yield. Awful service. We had a water loss and State Farm drug their feet on it so badly. It has now been 7 weeks since the flood and we still have not received a dime from State Farm to begin the repairs. Disorganized. No one will call us back. Fought us on everything. The Adjustor didn't even read the estimate the contractor THEY sent. I was a loyal customer for 3 decades. I have a clean driving record and no accidents; they have never been on the hook to pay out a claim where I was at fault. After 3 decades with them they told me that my policies were not being renewed because my windshield had to be replaced because it was hit by a rock. In the 3 decades I had this one glass claim and I had a tow reimbursed once. Loyal customer for years. But God forbid you have a claim after decades, you are going to face incompetency and be blamed for it. Terrible. They lost my car after I transferred it to them and then removed the value from my payout for their mistake. They are rude, hostile, and try to bully you out of every penny they can.
Absolutely furious with this company! Loyal customer of 26 years. Put in a claim this past Wednesday and after about 10 calls have not heard back from the adjuster. I have water damage in my home! They don’t care! Just take my money & refuse to pay out when needed! I’ll be moving on for sure!
My older drivable car was totaled by State Farm. A coworker ran into me and caused some minor cosmetic damage. I will be switching companies. STATE FARM ARE LEGALIZED CONARTISTS! STAY AWAY!
They are a rip off they don't like to let you cancel a policy so they won't have to give you a refund they reps will not call or email you back and then customer service will cover up for the rep and tell you a lie that it takes a month or more to cancel a policy in their system. They are full of crap if you can stay away from State Farm by all means.
