One of State Farm’s clients rear ended me. The person at fault has been outstanding and as helpful as they could possibly be. State Farm on the other hand has been a nightmare. The accident happened over two weeks ago and an estimate was written last week. Still no payment issued. Anytime I call to reach the claims handler she is not available. i’m terribly disappointed that it’s takingt 24 hours for me to get help After a traffic accident. I would’ve had a car I am without auto rental or a human from state farm to assist me. Yesterday the agent hung up on my husband because the other driver was at fault. Today I got through to the claims agent who did not realize their microphone was on and I could hear them in their house and they did not answer that call or my voice but yet I think heard me then muted themselves?!!!!!
State Farm is a joke. Their client hit me when he turned on red as I slowed down to turn into a gas station. Sheriff even put that he failed to yield. They will pay 70% of my damages & made it incredibly hard to get in touch with anyone. Their only answer was I can have my insurance pay for the repair & they'll reimburse when it's decided. State farms 1800 customer service line operators are the most rude, disrespectful people I have dealt with this year. Stay away from this company at all costs unless your suing them.
State Farm's claim adjusters and claim handlers are trash. Horrible customer services and poor communication! After thr adjuster came out and made his report, it was horrible trying to reach them. A "manager" supposedly called me back after so many times of trying to reach someone about my claim! This "manager" was rude, yelled at me and my contractor. Told us we could call him to talk about the claim, but never picks up or return our calls!! I will be leaving state farm once my claim has been completed!! You all just lost a... read more
State Farm has been the worst to work with on a claim. Have been in a 2 year battle with them for storm damage that caused water damage internally. My paperwork states " internal damage caused from external roof damage. External damage is not significant enough to cause internal damage " I'm not sure if they even know what they mean by that. If you are thinking about switching or using State Farm for your insurance agency, look elsewhere unless you like having your money taken from you every month only to have 0 coverage.

After State Farm tried to back charge me months for a error in quoting by one of their represnetatives, I informed them it would be tooo high for me and notified them that i would not be renewing my policy. In return, they went into my bank account and took the money they wanted for their mistake almost $500!! They vclaimed they would refund my money and sent me a check for a little over $100! While we cannot share specific details in this public response, our Underwriting Department attempted contact with the complainant on March 27, 2023 and March 28, 2023, to address their concerns. We were unable to resolve this matter by phone. A response letter was mailed to the consumer.
Bad company. Raised my rates by $100 a month from Dec to Jan when I had no claims. When I asked why they apologized and said its because of the region of the country I am in ..... Had hail damage that caused $7000+ damage and they are trying to say that even though it did that much damage to my truck the windshield was from a rock chip?? I sat in the truck pulled over on the side of the road during the hailstorm and watched my window crack. One star is to much.
Had a total loss accident that was a state farm drivers fault. Ran a blind red light and we t boned her at 35. State farm agreed to a settlement and said we have the rental for 5 more days. I call on day 4 no tracking and on day 5 I call they said it's in the pile and will go out in 5-7 business days. Scummy company trying to hose me because the title was out of state to where I currently live.
