I had one of the worst experiences with this dealer. The trade-in price offered was significantly below market value — nearly €5,000 less than expected. Customers should be extremely cautious and ensure all specifications are clearly confirmed in writing. Despite assurances that I would receive a better-spec vehicle than my previous one, I discovered on the day of delivery that the car was actually a downgrade. Car was in for a service. They didn’t resolve the issue I specifically mentioned in the feedback form. They also didn’t fully clean the car. In advance of collecting it I asked the guy if the car would be cleaned and he said “that’s the plan anyway”. They also sent out the usual automated feedback emails. I communicated all this and they did nothing to resolve it. I’ll need to buy a second car for the household soon but we won’t be buying a VW or anything from the Joe Duffy group.
