A few years ago I had a major water leak occur in my condo kitchen wall due to faulty pipes. We opened a claim and started repairs. I then had a second leak a couple of months later due to a contractor hitting a pipe in my kitchen, water spewed everywhere and caused a ton of additional damage. The contractor never reported this or used their own insurance for this, claiming it was the faulty pipes again, and pushed the additional damages under the same claim. Absolutely disgusting company! Had hail damage to our house. First, they would not cover damage to siding. Later, we found that windows were damaged causing leaks into our house. State Farm would not cover any of it. We have been loyal, paying, customers for almost 20 years, have not filed any significant claims in the 20 years with regards to house, and this is the kind of treatment you can expect. We had wind damage to our roof in May of this year. State Farm and my contractor agreed that we did in fact have damage on all 5 slopes of our house. State Farm denied the claim because the cost to fix the roof was below our deductible. When my contractor attempted to fix the roof we found that the shingles were discontinued. We asked State Farm for a new roof since our attempt to repair would not match our existing shingles. State Farm offered "similar" shingles however these would still not match our existing shingles. At 46 years old with only 3 accidents to my name, State Farm says they won't insure me any longer. They are happy to take my money to insure four vehicles, a boat, a house, and a business. But when they have to pay to get a truck fixed due to an accident that was my fault, they inform me they are canceling my vehicle insurance on that vehicle. I have been State Farm customer for over 40 years and recently had some upsetting experiences. First, they sent me a check which I never received and now have requested a replacement check several times after they notified me by email that I did not cash it. They have refused to even acknowledge my telephone calls or emails. Second, I purchased a new vehicle and asked to cancel my old insurance two months before the end of the day. This company does not honor their clients. I had one of their clients hit my new car with less than 4000 miles on it. State Farm is wanting to repair my auto using recycled parts. When I discussed my concerns with Michelle O******, the rep for the company, I was told that is how they do things. Even their preferred body shop said that most insurances replace the parts of new cars with less than 12,000 miles with new parts. Jason n****** Reaching out my experience with state farm lately has been critical coustomer service my vehicle has been in shop now right at two weeks still no appraisal has been done according to my records a shop in which was one out of three repair shops they named off being the higest so I guess that explains why everybody's taking their sweet time that's OK tho this will definitely cause state farm to lose my business when I pay what ever I owe them after this is all over!!

In my opinion after driving for 53 years with 35 being a professional driver and being involved in 8 accidents, none my fault, State Farm is the worst insurance company I have ever had to deal with! From taking a week to get my rent a car to making me get a salvage title on my repaired car to waiting 2 weeks to get my payment for repairs, which had to be sent twice, it's been a nightmare! This by FAR the worst STATE Farm agent I have ever worked with. I have been with State Farm since March of 1987, 36+ years. Until this last year I thought they were a GREAT company. However, due to VERY BAD advice I received directly from my Agent David Habart about how to handle a claim, a claim I was going to pay out of pocket, not only did they raise my rates they dropped my coverage.
