So they told me to get the drivesafe device and my cars appear on the app, but it wont let me register them. Thats all good. I call to get the issue resolved and I have been on hold for 45 minutes!!!!! Who has 45 minutes to just be waiting on the phone because "all representatives are busy"... How many people do you have working for you?? 1? Come on. Every time I need something the wait is super long.
I contacted my agent to cancel my policy days ago. I had never experienced an insurance company like this before. Frankly the worst I’ve ever experienced! Incompetent agent office where those who process things are like a dictatorship bureaucratic underdeveloped country government, and those who interacted with customers can only submit requests on behalf of customers and wait. I was on hold for over an hour waiting to speak to State Farm about why they are taking so long to settle a claim. I was told on their recording I would hold 20 minutes. Utterly ridiculous. What terrible customer service. ZERO STARS!!!!

Worst insurance company Ever. I was hit by a guy who was 100% at fault. He was looking at his phone and admitted it to the police. He has state farm as do we. My vehicle is 4 months old with 6000 miles on it and they are insisting they will only pay for non-OEM part on a brand new vehicle. Run as fast as you can. Our body shop said they are always the hardest to work with;( It’s sad. We will be dropping asap.
State Farm has been HORRIBLE!!! Our truck was destroyed by a drunk driver. They only gave 1/3 of its value, lied several times, forced us into accepting their low ball offer by refusing to extend the rental. We are already short one vehicle, so have to get another one. Now, they won't even give us the money for another 5 days. We have no truck, no rental, and no money to buy another vehicle. The claims person was a total jerk. We will NEVER use State Farm again.
I echo comments below to some degree. We were paying way too much for car insurance on a monthly basis without realizing it. Recently when I questioned yet another rate increase the State Farm agent mentioned something the loss of five star rating due to my being rear-ended by an uninsured driver that happened three years ago! Had state farm for over 3 years now with policies for 3 properties and 3 vehicles. Everything was smooth because I never had to use them for a claim. However, I had to file a claim for one of the properties due to storm damage. State farm sent an inspector on 05/12/2023, but everything has taken a ridiculous amount of time since with no communication whatsoever without me calling them every time because they are well overdue on reaching out for an update. Denied our claim, in spite of a plethora of evidence. We had a chimney fire; 3 adult household members saw the flames, plus 4 adult backyard neighbors. The damage to the chimney was extensive; a professional chimney company used a snake camera to documented the clearly visible damage. They went up on the roof; when they removed the chimney cap, the chimney crumbled to pieces. But State Farm's "inspector" used only a regular hand-held camera.
