Dr Alamshaw cared for my mom until she passed in 2016 at almost 94 years old. It was always the highlight of her week if she got to see him. I’ve had him as my personal physician for around 20 years, and he has also treated my daughter. He is an excellent listener, asks good questions, and always follows up. She comes in the examination room very late and only stays for a brief time. When she comes in she types so slowly which eats up all of the visitation time allotted. She barely ever laid a finger on me to really examine me. However, she is condescending in tone and in speech when you answer her one million questions. She ordered labs for me and never called me to go over the results. I had an unfortunate encounter with this doctor. She showed a dismissive attitude, questioned my concerns, and overall gave off a bad vibe. There was no reassurance or care during the appointment. After years of excellent care at Kaiser, this was a disappointing and unexpected experience
She is not dismissive. She listens and looks out for my health thoroughly. I recommend her completely.
I was assigned to Dr. Praveen at Kaiser for my Major Depression and prescribed Escitalopram. Unfortunately, I experienced significant side effects, and despite raising my concerns, our sessions were brief (10–15 minutes) and felt dismissive.Her solution was to simply lower the dose without exploring alternatives, which left me frustrated and tired of the medication.I eventually sought a new doctor outside Kaiser, who prescribed Bupripion and carefully monitored my progress with monthly follow-ups. During my nearly 10 years with Kaiser, I’ve had my fair share of less than satisfactory experiences with other doctors. Dr. Chandora has been a breath of fresh air and is, without a doubt, the best doctor I’ve had at Kaiser. Dr. Chrastil is the most personable surgeon I’ve ever had. This was my 7th knee surgery (right knee replacement). He answered all of my questions thoroughly. He will be doing my left knee at some point!!
Wish I would have done my hip surgery a year ago. The results are amazing and I would highly recommend Dr Chrastil!!

This was the worst experience I've had with any medical provider and his patient care should be audited.
