Dr. Chrastil's genuine care and concern was evident right away. He did not rush through the appointment and listened attentively to my explanation. My follow up appointments, post surgery, have been the same the same. I have felt well care for. I truly believe Dr. Chrastil saved my leg and very possibly my life.
Dr. Chrastil is a gifted surgeon with wonderful bedside manner. At my 3 month follow up I told him I wished I had more knees for him to replace. Both knee replacements - a year apart - were practically painless and I felt completely recovered after a very short time.
Besides getting an injection in very arthritic knee, he knew what was wrong with a new problem; torn meniscus. He also referred me to his colleague who does guided injections--for my very painful, poorly replaced left hip (a different surgeon put in too large a socket). He also diagnosed another painful place missed by my back ortho (elsewhere) and explained the treatment needed.
Great visit explained all options took time to answer all my questions very easy to talk to great sense of humor
I am three weeks out from hip replacement surgery and could not be more pleased with my experience with Dr. Chrastil and his staff. He readily diagnosed my problem and got me into surgery on an efficient schedule. Great bedside manner. The procedure went smoothly and I was home the afternoon of the surgery. What more can I say? Except many thanks for the superb care and caring support for my hip replacement and for my upcoming second and last hip replacement.
Dr. Chrastil is warm and very engaging. His staff is wonderful. Panorama has an amazing practice. My hubby and I both had knee replacements and had positive experiences with Dr Chrastil and his team.
I can’t say enough good about Dr. Chrastil. He is honest, easy to talk to, listens well, compassionate, seeks to understand, and explains options and procures well. Dr. Chrastil took me on as his patient in spite of my complicated medical history: septic hip infection from previous hip replacement by another surgeon and diagnosis of cancer.
