Dr. Chrastil understood my condition, explained what I could do about. He treated us as people and not a malady needing fixing. A true gentleman and compassionate doctor. He stated he would be there all the way through. I really appreciated his personable approach and medical understanding and explanations to all of our questions. I highly recommend Dr. Chrastil.
Dr Chrastil did a full hip replacement on my left hip in 2019, and the right hip in 2022. Both times, the results were fantastic! Everything from the prior communication, the pre-op instructions, his bedside manner, post-op care was handled just right. I was back home the same day with both operations. I recommended him to an acquaintance who also was very pleased, and would strongly recommend him to anyone seeking a replacement Hip. I would imagine the same would be true of a knee replacement.
I went to Dr. Chrastil for a second opinion on a knee replacement I had done 7 months prior and wasn't healing. Dr. Chrastil was the first who seemed concerned about the pain I had been going through. He gave me all the time I needed to discus what had been going on and then how he felt we should proceed. I had a complete knee replacement by Dr. Chrastil with excellent results several years ago. When my wife needed her hip replacement, I suggested that she see Dr. Chrastil. Her hip replacement also went extremely well. This year, it was my hip that needed replacement; obviously I needed to go no further than to have Dr. Chrastil do the surgery. My experience with Dr. Chrastil was amazing. He replaced both hips without any problem. I have great faith in his ability as a surgeon.
Dr Chrastil is a great Doc. Listens and talks with you about your situation, explains what he is going to do. Easy to talk with and helps you understand

Dr, Chrastil is a great surgeon with an amazing bedside manner. I was out at ease before my surgery and the care since then has been superb. My questions were answered and my appointments since the surgery afforded me a wonderful experience and great hope for a full recovery.
It was a long journey for me that ended with hip replacement surgery. Dr. Chastil made the outcome of my journey the best it could be. I felt 100% confidence in his ability to improve my life- and he did just that.
