Car guru pricing was a couple thousand less than advertised on their website just to get you in the door.
Car “wasn’t” for sale but he had one just like it with a 6000$ higher price tag even though they had a full out add for it

The used vehicle (2016 VW Tiguan 4motion R line) was returned 1 hour after purchase for an oil leak and a drive train issue. I asked for a refund and was given the run around as they made excuses because they lied on the buyers report. They fixed the oil issue but not the drive train issue which was a condition of purchase. I brought it back to have them look at it. After emailing the salesman about the Cruze a few times and setting up a time to drive to Janesville to see it. I get there and he tells me it’s not available to sell and tried selling me a vehicle higher than what I wanted to pay and nothing in my interest type of a vehicle.
We drove multiple hours to purchase a vehicle. We had a time set up to meet with the salesperson we were working with. We had text correspondence to confirm we would arrive in 15 minutes. Confirmed again via phone call when we were 5 minutes from the dealership. We pulled in and he was pulling the vehicle up to meet us. We took the vehicle for a test drive and when we returned, we were told that they had another buyer flying in to purchase the same vehicle. Not a good experience. Girl trying to help me just graduated high school and knew nothing about sales or cars. Test drove a vehicle that had an open container of alcohol in the console. Sales manager was all about him and not what I needed. Will never go there again. Very disappointing!
Great crew. Very responsive. Didnt want to deal so I couldn't move forward.
