Favourite place to go on a night out! Great music!
Door staff were awful, didn’t even get to the door before door staff said “no” we hadn’t even engaged nor had we even step food in the venue. Told us we were too drunk even tho we had been in York for an hour. Door staff the. Started recording me and my partner even when we were waking off. Couldn’t trust them to look after a child never mind a venue.
Great bar with amazing party vibes for Saturday night except from toilet attendee mario who is usually and overall friendly can come across as a bit rude and impatient.
Yeah, I should've checked the reviews first, don't bother with this place if you're a single tourist visitng York. Turning this many potential customers away at the door, hope they can afford to keep all those snazzy lights on with these electricity prices! Loads of other places are friendly and welcoming in the city - and appreciate recieving custom
