A little disappointed that the poke appetizer was more of a fried rice, tasted good, but not what we expected.
it's a beautiful restaurant but the service was God awful. it took like 20 mins to just have someone bring us water an menus. And there were two dead fruit flies in my water...and absolutely no one apologized for that. The service was just so bad and wasn't that busy at all and there were a lot of waiter standing around. wish I could have given a better review.
Service was terrible. Food was good, slightly pricy.
The salmon was amazing!!! The view was spectacular. The service was awesome. I would go back in a minute.
Great food and wonderful view--you get to see and feel part of the Lake Union activities all around! Love it every time!
While I live on the east coast of the U.S., I have dinner at Ivar's Salmon House every time I come to town and have yet to have a bad meal. The various types of smoked salmon are the best I have had anywhere, and the salmon chowder is outstanding too. My only complaint is about the cornbread, which used to be much fresher and tasty.
This used to be one of my favorite places to go. Maybe my palatte is getting more refined... Seemed to me that the white chowder was chunkier, better flavor. The salmon chowder was salty, and the Seafood Medley was unimpressive. The view from the patio was amazing, however. LOL
