One of many offshoots of the original Ivar's Acres of Clams, the Salmon House represents the Seattle institution's attempt at contemporary dining. Located in a replica Indian longhouse, the restaurant features salmon and meats alder-smoked on the open-pit Indian-style barbecue. The chef does best with straightforward seafood preparations. My wife and I had lunch today and brought a guest, beautiful view, enjoyed the calamari and coffee then lunch was served. I had an issue with my meal which they corrected immediately and afterwards went to pay and they gave us all our meals for free! I did not get the managers name but you and your staff are top notch professionals. You went above and beyond even when you didn't need too. I will recommend all my friends have lunch or dinner at your fine establishment. Thanks again! The Crookers

Ivar's Salmon House has always been a great seafood restaurant to me. What I have been missing is the Sunday Brunch buffets that it used to offer. To me, this is a big disappointment, especially when my out of state guests could not enjoy the excellent ambience available during the summertime. The location and view of the lake is really great. Parking appears ample.

Good food in general. Didn't care for the Cesar dressing at all and the waiter took it off the bill. Calamari was perfect! We ordered 1.5# of crab.....delish! Staff was great and a great view....but $203 bucks....ouch.
Excellent service, beautiful location on the water, fresh seafood was amazing. I would go again!
My first time docking and having lunch. Not my first time to the Salmon House though, always good food. Was a great stop on a wonderful day with great friends while we floated the lakes and went through the locks to the sound.
