We went there for the football game and the sailgating to the UW game. The price was inclusive of brunch and the sailgate to the game. My husband and I really don't eat big meals so we thought the cost of the brunch was expensive. The food was good and the staff were great but I thought the cost of the brunch was high.
Great staff and amazing food! Wonderful experience and the happy hour pricing was a bonus.
Delicious fish & chips but pretty spendy. My husband & I had the fish & chips and a cup each of the chowder. $31
This is an old time favorite and the food was excellent. I love sitting and watching all of the boating traffic from the windows. I felt perhaps that we had inexperienced waitstaff who got a bit behind but maybe it was just a Sunday evening dinner rush -- we did not get our bread basket and it took 3 requests to get condiments, and this was after the hostess "lost" our reservation and initially told us we would "just have to wait 45 minutes" for a table. First time i have eaten at this Ivar's. Food was good, but nothing was over the top. View from corner window table was awesome overlooking the water. Overpriced! though �
