woke up before 6 a.m. to a barking dog above us. the dog is on the balcony. owners are no where to be found. the dog has pooped and peed and it's pee is dripping down on our balcony. the rooms are beautiful, love the view of the beach, the people are super nice but this is just uncalled for. we came out here to enjoy ourselves and have fun but this is just pathetic. not to mention the money we spent. oh and I've been told by someone who helps run this building that the dog was up there all day yesterday so they even knew it ... read more
I would recommend suncoast realty & vacation rentals. However I would not recommend ocean house. The rooms are not clean and the staff are rude the pathway to the beach is in bad shape. I will not be staying at ocean house agin
RecommendedI would recommend the young’s suncoast realty. They was very helpful and nice when we arrived. However I would not recommend staying at ocean house. The experience we had from condos not being clean and rude staff. We will not ever stay again.
This was a great place to go thru. It was so easy and the transaction went very smoothly. To the lady I spoke with at the front desk, I just wanted to let you know that my husband’s mother had a wonderful time for it being her first time to see the beach. She loved the water. The fact we were so close to the pier was a huge bonus. Can’t wait to bring her back. Thank you for being so kind to us! Review wise, the text updates and emails regarding checking in and out made everything so easy. Again, thank you!
We booked a condo and had to cancel due to a bad storm in Baton Rouge that flooded our home. We were told we couldn’t get a refund because we didn’t buy travel insurance. We weren’t offered that first of all and second, they were not willing to even call the condo owner to ask if they would allow a refund or a reschedule. We will never recommend this company.
Thank u Candace! After a horrible experience with another company this morning, Candace at young’s fixed us up!!! I can see why my best childhood memories of the beach with my dad always were booked with “young’s by the sea” so excited about upcoming vacation!!
We stayed in Seascape 102. We had a FANTASTIC experience!! This condo unit is right behind the houses directly On the beach, however we still had a beautiful view and only steps from the ocean and sand. Although this unit is an older one, it was cozy, clean, and stocked FULL of everything we needed and more! Extra towels, blankets, all the kitchen equipment we needed for any type of meal!
