The most wonderful place to stay ..owners are close by if needed ..we had no problems at all ..beds comfy, well equipped, couldn't ask for more ..really close to wasdale..the birds at the feeders were great and we took bird food with us ..hopefully next time we might see a red squirrel..all in all fantastic
Caution before you book if you have dogs. It allows dogs but definitely not pet friendly. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, in any bedrooms or upstairs. All hairs must be removed from carpets and furniture before leaving. The garden is enclosed but not secure if you have a small dog. There's also an outbuilding in the garden with no doors on, but is filled with allsorts of rubbish and old furniture. Dogs have to be exercised out of the garden not in it. Pros. Bigger than expected. Lots of wildlife in the garden. Unbelievable central heating. Cons. Some of the furniture needs updating. Spots of mould around the windows. Will be going back
