My 2 children have been seeing Dr. Chen since birth. I love her and all the staff at Sutter Pediatrics. One of my children was what I consider a healthy sick kid. From 3 months old he had chronic ear infections and breathing problems. She referred us to ENT early on and also to an immunology/allergy specialist. We have been a patient of Dr Irene Chen for 14 years now. One of my daughters is special needs and she has helped us through some tough times. She listens and helps us think outside of the box with issues that come up. She has also helped guide us to the other specialists on my daughters team. Dr Irene Chen is the best pediatrician we have for our 17 year old son James who's in special needs. Dr Chen is patient, understands and cares for our son a lot. She's very thorough and answers all questions we have and more, or will ask us things we forget why we see her for. Love her !
Dr Chen has been our kids doctor for 10 years and counting. She is an excellent, caring doctor. She listen, is genuinely concerned and so very thoughtful. I would highly recommend her.
For the past year, we have had the pleasure of our kids being cared for by Dr. Chen. She is amazingly patient and listens to all of our concerns as well as those of our children. She takes ample time to build a trusting and caring relationship which makes our family feel welcomed when we come in for a visit. We are thankful not only for her expertise, but for her soft skills that make her so wonderful as our family pediatrician.
Dr. Chen has been my daughters pediatrician for the last 13+ years. She's always gone above and beyond to make my daughters feel very welcomed including her staff. Dr. Chen treats her patients with lots of love and care. She always listens to our needs and she's very thorough. She even follows up. I love that about her.
