I was nervous to go to a new dentist office but I chose this place because of all of the positive reviews it had online. I am so glad I chose this place. The welcome letter and gift was awesome and the office is incredible. My dentist is so sweet and she did an extra careful job. She made meaningful conversation with me and took before and after pictures of my cavities. They really care about the work they do here.

I just recently moved to Ames and was looking for a new dentist. I stumbled upon Ames Family Dental while researching online, and I am so glad I decided to go here! Everyone is so friendly! My hygienist made sure to thoroughly answer all my questions and help me feel comfortable during by appointment. Dr. Patten was also very welcoming and attentive. It was hard to leave my old dentist, who I had been seeing for the last 9 years, but I'm glad I found Ames Family Dental as my new dental home!
As usual, my appointment went very well. Lori is excellent in doing the cleaning and explaining any problems and concerns. Dr Good has been my dentist for a very long time and has always been the consummate professional. I am fortunate to have this dental team caring for my teeth.
Dr. Patten is fantastic! I came in for wisdom tooth pain and to get me out of pain, he pulled the tooth. It was a surprisingly quick process, he made me feel very comfortable by explaining what he would be doing, he even cracked a few jokes during my visit to ease my nerves. As much as I don't want to another tooth pulled, It was a lovely experience. Thank you!
