I came from the Healthcare industry and was looking for a change so I signed up for a home inspection course with ICA. The instructors Floyd & Sandra *****and been a God sent. From day one I knew from their sincere passion that they cared for my success. You don’t see that these days. Most instructors would run through PowerPoint slides and send you on your way. Floyd and Sandra have committed to my success and as a resource even after completing the course. 10 stars would be the accurate rating.
A+ Instructors I have taken multiple certification courses in the past. This class is unlike any of them. This class is not death by PowerPoint. This course is all the info you need to not only pass the national test, but to succeed as a home inspector. Floyd and Sandra are engaging and passionate and very knowledgeable. They are going above and beyond to ensure I am prepared for my new career. I give 5 stars because I can’t give more.
This is by far the best course, of any kind, I have taken! Worth every penny! Sandra and Floyds passion for this industry is amazing! I would recommend this course to anyone who wants to learn not only the right way to do an inspection but to run a business and live life the right way! They are great people and truly care! It seems to be getting harder and harder to find individuals who care about their work and even less, others. Most people move through the motion, collect their check on Friday and go home. They love Fridays and hate Mondays. This is not the case for Sandra and Floyd *****. They are not only passion about this career but they have a fire to help others prosper in life. I signed up for the school uncertain of how much I would like it or how heavily I would get into the profession. After the first day, I realized that I was exactly where I wanted to be and I love it as much as I hoped I would. Floyd and Sandra have a passion that is transferred during their teaching. Having gone through the class with Floyd and Sandra, I am amazed at the knowledge and training that can be condensed into such a short class. 8 days...really wish it was longer in some ways but I can only miss work for so many days.. While I will not have the experience of 20 years of inspections, this class has given me the confidence to do the best inspection I can at this time. I enrolled in the in-classroom training per state compliance. I’ve had ADD since I was a kid and Floyd and Sandra Gibbs are character full and entertaining to listen to. I find myself really listening to what they have to teach/say and surprising myself from time to time thinking “wow, I haven’t lost focus yet” as funny as that might be.
