Great pub a little of westgate well worth couple of minutes walk to it. Friendly staff, good beer hobgoblin gold etc. Best jukebox in Wakefield. Can watch sport on sky if you wish.
The pub is going downhill fast. The beers aren't as good as they were. I don't know if they've stopped looking after them as much. Also the pool table is getting worse with only 2 very small cues. The jukebox has the best songs on any in Wakey but most of the time it misses about half your selections when you tell the staff all they say is I can't refund you. If you bought a pint of beer and you only got half I'm pretty certain you wouldn't accept that. Don't accept your money going into a knackered jukebox. It was my pub of... read more
Very good beer but could do with some stouts and got to many ipa's for me the songs on the jukebox are very good but half of the time it takes your money and doesn't play your songs.
