Room was on the slightly small size but still ok, very dog friendly although its a £35 total extra per night which does make it quite an expensive hotel that said location is good for dartmoor and the coast, the spa and pool are really nice, plenty of space for the dog to exercise in the grounds and good food options (breakfast is really nice)

First time at the Islington hotel for an evening meal. A really delightful evening began with celebratory drinks on the terrace whilst making our menu choices. The meal was excellent with delicious starters and mouthwatering steaks. Very attentive and cheerful staff who helped make our evening all we would want it to be. Thank you everyone.

Beautiful homely hotel in an amazing location. This was made even better by the most friendly, helpful staff. They took time to get to know us (especially Tom, or was it Dick or Harry! Also treated to a massage whilst there, so a special mention to Sarah who was fab! The spa facilities, especially the swimming and hydrotherapy pools were brilliant and got well used! Altogether a lovely week, thank you!
