RecommendedWay too much crap, lines way too long, slow checkout. Charlie got some stuff, but we're taking some back. I personally wasn't impressed, but I don't like shopping anyway.
I have been shopping at IKEA stores for years and have experienced nothing less than a stellar shopping experience - until my recent visit to to Columbus store. This store is nowhere near the standards set by other IKEA stores I've visited. Parking was horrible - it took 30 minutes to find a space, and after having five spaces stolen from me, I stole one from someone else. Great store! The only thing is their was tons and tons of people there. Probably due to the grand opening. Long checkout lines was the only problem.
Exit signs Not lite up thur out the store on second and first floor ...big safety issue !

Crowded, long lines and terribly understaffed. This was 11am on a Friday.
1st time to an IKEA. Was impressed by the store and the quality and prices. Bought several things. Was NOT pleased with the extremely long check out lines. Only had 6 registers opens and there were at least 20-25 people in each line. Also the no bag thing was an unpleasant surprise. I could have bought one of their's for $4. No thanks. Will definitely go back again, but better prepared.
