I am deeply disappointed by the delivery service of IKEA Broooklyn NYC. I purchased a set of dining table. The table's installation couldn't be completed since IKEA sent the wrong piece. Three weeks ago, I was notified that the correct piece would be sent on 15Nov. I have received a notification that the missing piece has been received by the building management only to discover that this is not the case. Great store and really great location!
My experience with ikea was horrendous!! I ordered furniture to be delivered 4 weeks ago and it didn’t show up not once but twice!! I wasted hours of my life waiting for delivery and on the phone trying to get through to ikea customer service, only to find out my items were lost somewhere in the warehouse and hey weren’t sure how long it would take to locate them. Catastrophic. Ikea US is so different than the Ikea Europe. Terrible customer service. Delivery service is beyond words. Ordered 30 piece of furniture, received 4 and now it's impossible to discuss with them. I am a fan of IKEA Europe but I'll try Wayfair now. The Ikea US President Lars Petersson is retiring end of August 2019, I guess that's why nothing is working properly but IKEA US IS A TOTAL NIGHTMARE
