I do like a Honda. However their warranty sucks and so does the extended warranty. The service department at Ikes is pretty much incompetent. Had a transmission fixed there. Took them 3 tries before I would take the car, then the drain plug falls out 16000 miles later out of state. Transmission is smoked. No warranty because drain plug is missing due to incompetence.

Hi Dennis, this is a very unfortunate situation that started with damage caused to the transmission by the driver of the vehicle (your son I believe). In a normal circumstance, the warranty on the vehicle would have paid for the repairs. However, upon breaking the transmission down & having our Honda rep come in to inspect the vehicle, it was determined the damage was caused by negligence. I remember dealing with this issue back then, and the gears had been completely ground down to nothing. Honda is a very reputable company... read more

Had a very disappointing visit yesterday while car shopping at Ike Honda, I explained to my female salesperson that I was looking to purchase a car and it was between a Honda and a Subaru and I was told that Subaru’s were total JUNK and when I disagreed she stated that they have a salesperson working there that worked down the street at Subaru for seven years and he will tell you himself. I have bought cars at Ike Honda for years . One Civic and 2 CRV’s. I have never had as bad an experience as I had yesterday. I was treated with disrespect and felt like I was being robbed. I had to walk out. I will never be back.
Good job to the service department and techs, they resolved an issue I had, I am pleased with how they handled everything.
Just an FYI for anyone going to the service department, I got my oil changed Saturday and they did their “multi point inspection” of my vehicle and the paper said everything but my battery was satisfactory. The service advisor did not go over that checklist with me once before I left so I didn’t think to look before leaving. The next day I had to change my sway bar links on my front end that were absolutely terrible but yet the service department claimed everything was good on my car. A couple of days ago I took to Facebook to explain my mother's less than ideal experience at Ike Honda. However, I feel compelled to give an update and say that the administration at Ike Honda has been WONDERFUL to us and have gone out of their way to resolve the issue. My family and I are very appreciative of how the management has professionally and promptly handled the situation! Thank you again, Ike Honda, and we will be sure to pay you a visit the next time we're in search for a new car!

Ike Honda failed to reset all my computer settings after my oil change and tire rotation.... my car is now pulling to the left... not sure why!!! I informed service that my CRV is making a sound similar to the one it made 1 year ago... but since they can’t make the sound reappear they refuse to fix the problem... pushy service guys trying to sell me services I really can’t afford right now... they left an(I) on my dashboard and on the way home had to call them to get it off my dashboard!!
