As usual, I was treated extremely well at Mini of Pittsburgh. The parts were installed correctly and the price was what was quoted to me when I set up the appointment. In addition, Mini went above and beyond expectations - they noticed that some parts (decorative floor panels) were showing wear and replaced them at no cost.

I had a 2004 Mini to trade in on a new Mini. It was no secret to me or the dealership that the car had the problem with the power steering fan. I had made several trips to the dealership to chat and talk. I always made it clear that I considered the power steering issue to be a engineering design failure and that MINI had a public safety obligation to publicize it and a public relations obligation to fix it at MINI's expense.
