I'm currently at the resort looking to go home a day early. If this was supposed to be a middle of the road resort and spa it would be great! But we expected the QUALITY of HYATT hotel we've become accustomed to and this is NOWHERE near that. We came to Maui for a conference here at the resort. Check-in and everything was smooth. We booked a king sized bed ocean view room and that's exactly what we got we have a wonderful view and is incredibly spacious! That's where the positives for the room end. We just walked through and explored the property. We loved being able to see the penguin feeding, parrots, and the property in general. It was beautiful!! Loved the little shops and Honolulu Coffee. Maybe next time we are in Maui we can stay here!!
Amazing stay at the Hyatt Regency! Great staff, clean rooms, breathtaking views, conveniently located right on the beach and just minutes to Lahaina!
Everything was Great! The only thing that would have made it 5 stars for me is if the pools were heated. They told us the temperature of the pool depends on how many people use their air conditioners because the heat from the air conditioners if what they use to heat the pools. For $650 per night it is unacceptable. At the Hyatt Regency Kauai they were heated, and by the way, I would give the Hyatt Regency in Kauai 10 Stars if I could.
Excellent place to enjoy your vacation! We especially loved all of the anilmals that live on the property, the young man that takes care of them is named Pono and whoever hired him found a gem!!! Pono allowed us to feed all of the animals with him and spent a ton of time educating us on them! He was so awesome, it was very evident that he loved hos job!
