The hotel while aging is still nice. We had room 322 which had two beds and a full ocean beach view. Food is nothing special. The breakfast buffet is 32 per person and no omelette station. The pool is great and the lunch from the bar is good. Tacos have a lot of meat.

We are leaving today after 8 days in Maui. We got married here 20 years ago and have returned almost every year. The Hyatt on Kaanapali is the only place we would stay. It is beautiful, luxurious and the best spot on Maui. Don’t stay anywhere else on Maui!

Well beautiful entry but if you rent a car be prepared to spend$32 a day to park it which I would think should be free after spending almost $6,000 for 7 nights in a average hotel. I've stayed in hotels and got air fare for half what I spent here that was extremely nicer with a bigger room. We had bought some microwave popcorn for a midnight snack and there was NO microwave. Im mean common you can go to motel six and every room had a microwave. I asked for a microwave to be put in our room and she said that's $10.00 a day...... read more
Overall we loved our stay and enjoyed the vacation. But it was very expensive!! The pool/lounge chair thing is my biggest complaint about this resort. We got down to the pool early morning and every single chair had a hotel towel on it. Yet nobody was around. Maybe 3 people in the pool and 4 on chairs. So people come try to save their chairs but then disappear for breakfast and whatever else. We celebrated our 25th anniversary here and could not have been happier with the service! Registration worked with us when there was a hiccup upon arrival, the room was amazing and well maintained, everyone made us feel very welcome right down to flowers and chocolate in our room in celebration of our anniversary. The spirit of aloha and pono were very apparent to us. ��

The place is absolutely gorgeous!! The woman that checked is in Ariel was simply amazing, she was kind, accommodating and had excellent customer service. The resort was impeccable would absolutely recommend and stay there again!
