Having visited before, I returned for a concert night 19th Oct to 20th Oct. Promising start and clean room. At 3.30 am my wife had to depart for the airport and got Trapped in the lift without a room card. Could not get out and the lift would not head down. I had to come save her. At breakfast, I was told that it already closed at 10, despite the check in desk person explicitly and twice (with my repeating the question) stating 10.30 the upon checkin. The best stay in Manchester. Stayed for three days and the whole stay was superb. The Queen studio was enough for us. It was squeaky clean. The kitchenette was a great plus to cook our meals. The bed was very comfy. The view from our corner room was lovely. The staff are very nice as well. Free and sumptuous breakfast. Manchester Museum is less than 10 mins walk and nearby convenient store eg Sainsbury/Morri is around 15 mins walk.
Our stay at Hyatt House Manchester was excellent. The front desk staff were very kind and extremely helpful. Both the dinner and breakfast restaurant staff were also lovely, and the food was very good. The location is convenient, making it easy to get around the city. We had booked connecting rooms and received exactly what we requested — the rooms were spacious, bright, and comfortable. A great choice for families and anyone visiting Manchester.
