I banked with Huntington for a time and had an auto loan with them. *************** was sub-par and I moved my accounts elsewhere, but left the auto loan in place mainly to avoid the hassle of transferring. That appears to have been a mistake. After paying off the auto loan and selling the vehicle I am told that their "policy" is to put a ***** day hold on releasing the title. Stand by cash is a joke why run my credit for this service and then deny me the service when needed this service is a fake service DONT RUN MY CREDIT AND DENY USE SAYING ACCOUNT IS NEGATIVE IT WAS POSITIVE BEFORE I FOUND OUT THAT HUNTINGTON BANK TOOK THE SERVICE BACK WITH NO NOTIFICATION

HUNTINGTON BANK.Been dealing with this bank since November 2021 to close my account. 11/19/2021: called to close account and was told check would be sent within **** business.12/16/2021: called to find out when I should be expecting check. Was told the current status is waiting to close account. Will take **** business days to close and **** business days to send check.2/4/2022: Was told still in process of closing account. They put holds on deposits for unreasonable amounts of time. The money had already been taken out of the depositing account but they continue to hold the money to "make sure funds are available". After 2 separate calls where I received 2 separate dates for the hold to end, they are still holding my money. They do not answer disputes in a timely manner and their customer service line representatives cannot assist in any way. Do NOT bank with Huntington, the worst bank I've ever had. I have so many problems with them, and can never get a resolution. Their customer service is horrible and gets you absolutely NO help. I have been trying to close my account there for months now and still have gotten no closer. The incompetence of this company is embarrassing.

I am the recipient of direct racism from Huntington Bank. I have a high net worth, high credit score, mortgages with plenty of money in the bank and no missed payments, overdrafts or late fees. I am a model customer that any bank would be proud to have. I entered bank to withdraw money out of my checking, only to be refused by the bank manager due to some discretional policy. I asked several questions and explained I could currently withdraw more money from the atm, then what she was saying I was allowed to do from the counter. I go to a different location and they allow me to withdraw the amount of money I requested. I asked them did they have any policy limiting what I just did, and they said it was none. Been with hunington for 10 years. Went in for loan. Was denied for a 8k loan with a 730 credit score and low debt to income ratio. The denial was a blessing in discised. Went to buckeye credit union and was approved for same unsecured loan with a better interest rate of 7.5%. Buckeye will now be my new bank. My wife and I will close all accounts with hunington in the next 2 weeks. The kicker is that ************************* (Banker) was very unprofessional with the handling of the our denial and the return of our documents.... read more

I don't know what happened to our escrow account money but it's been almost two months I've been calling about money that should have gone back into our account and Huntington continually transfers us around and still no solution. So frusterating.
