I paid off my home mortgage on July 27th of this year. I was told I would receive my escrow due to me in 4 to 6 weeks, They claim they sent the checks out twice. I never received it. Then then I was told I should have received the second check by November 1st. The service representative said he was going to put a stop payment on my check and expedite a refund for direct deposit in my checking account. I have called them 5 times after that and I get the same answer every time. 'We'll report it and expedite the payment'. I kee... read more

Terrible!I'm a former *** customer, and have had many headaches with the forced transition to Huntington. I'm not accustomed to having card transactions declined for no apparent reason. I had two accounts at ***; one was card-only (base account) and later I opened a checking account. Both transferred to Huntington as checking. I understandably got two new debit cards... but no clue as to which tied to which account. I tried to use the *** at several Huntington branches in the **************** on Friday, December 3rd and they were all out of service (My daughter told me this had happened to her a few days prior as well). I had a check to cash so decided I could just go in to the bank on Saturday and cash the check instead of using the ***. I got to my "normal branch" at noon on Saturday and the branch was closed. I checked the *** machine and it was still out of service so I drove 5 miles to another branch and they were closed as well ..... read more

My wife and I have had Huntington for several months as a joint checking account. I tried to log in to my account and was immediately told that I had exceeded the maximum number of login attempts so I tried to unlock my account and when I got to the part to reset my password, I received a message that an unexpected error occurred. I was able to log in to my wife's account and saw that all of our recent transactions (debits and credits) were missing, we also received a text alert that Early Pay was turned off. Three months after I purchased my home with a mortgage from Huntington bank, my wife lost her job due to the ******19 pandemic. Shortly thereafter, I was placed on MULA or Mandatory Unpaid Leave. This reduced our monthly income by approximately 50%. In December I applied for and was granted a forbearance by Huntington for 90 days. I was told after the 90 to resume payment of my mortgage, and that the approximately $6,600 would be tacked on to the principle. Since Huntington took over the ***********, ** branch TCF, the service level has tanked. They do not have walk in banking since the transfer, and only offer drive through service that is usually limited to two lanes. Several times I have visited the drive through ATM, it has been out of service resulting in having to use a non network ATM costing me money. I have been banking with Huntington Bank for almost 10 years. I have never had an issue with getting issues resolved. The two branches that I have ALWASY used were both closed down since the purchase of TCF. I had issues with my account being compromised so I closed it and opened a new account. I had to fight to get it closed after the first bank didn't actually close it. Then I deposited a check for my MINOR Child and the bank FROZE my account. This cost me not only time, lost wages from leaving working trying to get this c... read more

Horrible customer service, everytime ya call in ya have to wait at least 20 to 30 mins to speak with someone, tellers are a******* and not at all helpful, I went through the atm after having a deposit of almost 900, i tried to withdrawal 200 it says it would take me over my balance, i go inside then they ask for 2 forms of id even though im a customer and present my card, lady says shes never seen me before so thats the reason for the 2nd form of id, wow cuz thats a good reason. it then said my deposit was pending, like how ... read more

We have received two marketing advertisement postcards in the last month. We tried to call **************** to have our name and address removed from the mailing list and their automated system advised a greater than one hour wait to speak to a customer service representative. There was no email address posted on their website or live customer service chat. Their virtual customer service was of absolutely no help. Very poor communications.
