Worst customer service ever! We've have $3,000 in a TCF account for years. I cannot get them to give me information about why I'm being charged $2 monthly (apparently for a checking account, which I did not request). I have only a debit card from TCF (which Huntington took over), and I cannot get them to tell me the total in my account, or any information about it. They claim that I have to have my identity verified, and the only way to do this is to go in to my local branch, which I'm not about to do during covid. All this ... read more

I am very disappointed in Huntington Bank. The customer service is awful. I filed a claim for fraudulent charges, I was told there would be an investigation but no one ever talked to me about the claim. I called several times trying to get answers. Then I got a letter saying that I was responsible for the charges. I called to see the evidence that was used to prove this and I was told twice that it would be sent to me. I never received it. I called 2 more times and I was told too bad I was out the money, case was closed. I t... read more

Well unfortunately my account was over drafted around the time I received my child tax credit. Reason being I was out of work sick with covid-19. I received a letter stating they are only letting me keep ctc amount for 30 days after my 30 days are over, they snatched it back out of my account. They never took into consideration I was out of work sick. Although the company claims they have covid 19 resources that's definitely not the case. I have had nothing but problems with this bank since they took over ****. I have my mortgage through here. They are always messing it up. Sick of this. I started doing transfers to another bank with the savings account I have there. Im done. Unfortunately, I really do not have a choice with the mortgage since its way less than what the house is worth. The Huntington Branch @ *************** in *********,** has employed by far the RUDEST most unprofessional set of people I've EVER had to deal with. I asked to speak with a Banker and the banker doesn't even try to help he tells me to call customer support, when I told him I was directed to them He then proceeds to hangup on me. so I call back because I had more questions. I am at a Huntington bank on a Saturday at noon. They have a sign sorry we are closed for today. The hours state Saturday 10 AM to 3 PM. It says to use the **** The *** is not working nor accepting cash. I have taken pictures of all signs from this location.

It is one of the most disrespectful banks I have ever done, business with. I had one of the worst experiences, both ladies working behind the counter laughed at my elderly mother mocking her, made her tell her business so the whole branch could hear. Not knowing of her hearing problem. The moment I asked to speak to a manager, proceeded to say he was not available, and knowing my mother does not speak the language, speaking among each other, just tell her to leave. Huntington Bank doesnt seem to have evolved or updated since ****. Online banking with Huntington is just terrible. Want to schedule a recurring loan payment? Get ready to wait for them to physically mail you a form to fill out and return. Want to change the payment date? Another form. Want to get help with something? Wait on hold for 30+ minutes. Want to log in to the web interface? Good luck, it barely works. Do yourself a favor and bank elsewhere. Really anywhere else ought to be better.
