should be no stars. I was a TCF customer for 20+ years. Closed my account in September and Huntington said they were sending my balance (~*******) to my home address. Never received it. Call their customer service line weekly (they keep me on hold for 1 hour, say they are looking into it and hang up on me or say they are getting back to me, but never do. If I could give lower than 1 star, I would! This is the worst banking company Ive ever had the misfortune to work with!! Asked to close my account, and wanted a cashiers check with the remaining balance. He gave me the check and I left. The next day I check to see if my account has indeed been closed, and I find a have a negative balance. The MANAGER wrote me a check that was more then my balance!! I have tried for four days to find out why my scheduled payments are being rejected. After being on the phone for 40 minutes last night, it all of a sudden said to try my call tomorrow and hung up. I tried the first two days for a call back and did not receive a call back. I was on the phone today for an hour before I had to go back to work and hang up. How can I get anything resolved if no one will communicate with me?

First of all, hats off to the weary former TCF employees charged with providing customer service through this terrible merger. On my many trips to my local branch to find resolution, I've witnessed several employees on the verge of tears. They have been placed in a really helpless situation.After logging at least 5 hours on line and three trips to my local branch (waiting in line for ***** minutes each time), I am still unable to make an "owner's draw" from my business to my personal. TCF Bank merged with Huntington. I had a mortgage and several bank accounts at TCF. When my mortgage transferred to Huntington they decided I didn't have homeowners insurance even though I had sent multiple proofs of insurance. They have now placed an escrow of $1500 dollars on my mortgage and cannot seem to fix this issue.Customer service is nonexistent!

I would just like to share this in hopes that someone from huntington sees this. I live in ******* ***** *** I used to have 3 huntington banks, ATMs within a 3 mile radius of my home. My husband and I use cash a lot in our business. So we use the atm a lot. Its very convenient to have our atms close to home. Less gas wasted. We go to the atm every other day, multiple times a day sometimes. Recently, Huntington closed all banks and built a new, bigger one with only ONE atm! Now we have to drive 10 miles from our home. I waited 2.5 hours for a service representative only to be told they couldn't help. I misplaced my business bank card and I was told my the representative that they don't address business bank accounts over the phone. This is very unusual because most check cards have a number on the back or online to cancel your card of its lost or stolen. This is poor customer service.

My son and I bailed from TCF back in Sept when we heard they were becoming a Huntington Bank. Since completely CLOSING our TCF accounts, Huntington keeps sending letters asking for $ from our Huntington accts! (Which we don't have). Hours and hours online to be told to go to the bank, and then standing in a drive-thru because they will not let people in the bank.
