I work as a title clerk at a car dealership. We purchased a vehicle as a trade-in that has Huntington Bank listed as the lienholder. The lien has been satisfied, and we just needed proof that the lien has been released from the vehicle. I have called, I have faxed, I have emailed. I would not refer my worst enemy to this awful bank! How hard is it to close an account? I have been a customer of TCF for more than 10 years. I have been attempting to close my accounts for over a week.I called August 10th to close 3 accounts.Two were closed and I received a check with the remaining funds. However there is one checking account that has not been closed.I have called everyday since August 10th as the account continues to remain open. Simply the worst customer service in town. I could not get anyone to tell me where to mail my monthly mortgage payments. It was the simplest request, but no one had any answers. Awful!

To start with I want to say that if you are looking to get a loan from Huntington National Bank, turn around and run away as fast as you can like your life depends on it . Here is my story.I got a call from my bank, PNC, which in my opinion is the best. I have been with them for 20 years. The lady at PNC proceeds to tell me my FICO score has dropped 150 points and that all my pre-approvals for home loans are gone and that my credit cards probably will be reevaluated . I have been a customer of this bank for over 18 years and they are TERRIBLE to their long-term customers. Besides having scammy overdraft fees and policies that have affected me negatively a number of times over the years, they recently closed my 18-year-old savings account because it had a zero balance for 35 days (in the middle of a pandemic). I was not notified of this policy change and their customer service representative admitted that they never sent any communication to me regarding my account being closed. They were ... read more

Awful! They service a loan for me and every time I call, and I mean every time; the auto attendant does not recognize my info so it's an extra pain to get through to someone. Also, they have been charging me a monthly fee that I was told several times was waived from my account. This seems highly unethical to me! If they were not servicing my loan, I'd take my business else where. The monthly frustrations are not worth it. Businesses should really take better care of their clients. Shame on Huntington.

I was recently contacted by this bank and while I tried to communicate professionally, I was treated with condescension. I told them I did not appreciate being treated like that and if or when I decided to follow through with giving my business to someone that it would not be them. The response was great!.

I applied for mortgage refinance May 14 2021. *********************** and *************************** were assigned to me to assist in the process. I was initially informed that the process would ***********-8weeks to complete. I supplied initial application paper work, signed disclosures online, and supplied my documentation as requested. TERRIBLE BANK! VERY UNTRUSTWORTHY! They switched over to Huntington recently, who is JUST as bad, if not WORSE! No wonder why! They are terrible about communication, & solving any issues. I regret going to this bank! There were constantly errors on their end that they never would admit to, or would be willing to fix until I mentioned getting a lawsuit together.
