If I could leave zero stars I would. Huntington is the worst bank that I have ever had the unfortunate experience of banking with. They charge excessive fees. Huntington is attempting to get people who are below the poverty line to drop their bank so they can scramble to find a different bank in the middle of a pandemic. Stay away by all means from this fraudulent bank! They are stealing money from people's account. They stole $2,500 from my account and refuse to refund, despite weeks spent on the phone with them, submitting various complaints and doing everything to retrieve the money they stole from me. Corporate office employee stole the money from my account! Terrible service, ripped me off, wont do the research to help me as I overpayed my loan after a refi with another company. 3 checks were sent to them and I have the tracking numbers and name of the person that signed for them.. they never got applied to my loan so interest kept racking up.. this took 3 months to achieve and now they wont and at least 20 phone calls and I just get the run around. Worst bank Ive ever worked with! I was with TCF bank for 15+ years. Then Huntington bank bought them and its been a nightmare ever since. First my new card they sent was getting declined, after calling and waiting on hold for 1 hour, the lady tells me oops, the expiration date was printed wrong on your card. Then I go to ****** and again, call and wait 45+ minutes just to tell them Im traveling with my card. Was trying to close an account. They make it difficult. Not recommended as it should be handled as to what's most convenient for customer.
The wait at the drive-through is always ridiculous. I try to avoid high volume times, but for no apparent reason there is only one lane open and a single car is being serviced for ***** minutes. There is never more than one teller attending to drive-through lane. Making a simple deposit can take half an hour or more. Not unusual, more like standard operating procedure. Ive never had these problems with any other bank system. ??

I was contacted by a member of Huntington National Bank Barin G. on phone number a ******** **** phone number regarding concerns of my mortgage. HUD has placed a second lein on my home via Huntington National Bank without my knowledge nor consent. Barin would not answer my questions as stated. He accused me of being smirky and condescending. HORRIBLE BANK! - I am coming from TCF.. I have Social Security money I need access to 24/7. WHY do I need to go to the bank each time I need to get money and why cant I have access to a card.. this is discriminatory for those with disabilities. They only allow in bank transactions and I dont have a car and I have bills I need to pay in which a card needs to be used... please help resolve this. We will be changing banks if nothing is done..

I was with TCF bank for 25 years, then Huntington took over and they have held my payroll deposit every time for 7+ days each time. This has been a re-occurring deposit every two weeks for years. I have reached out to them waited for hours on hold. Had the calls dropped and then when you finally do get ahold of customer service they don't seem to want to help or care when I mention closing my accounts.I guess it is time to move on!
