Horrible customer service. Horrible conflict resolution. Horrible experience. Everything takes **** business days to resolve. No follow up calls. Many unanswered questions by incompetent staff.

I recently opened an account with Huntington Bank and I have set up direct deposit through my employer. Friday when I got paid I got an actual check because my direct deposit has not been approved yet. Before I used the mobile deposit I called customer service to see how much of my check would be available right away. The person I spoke to said that $500 would be available. I used the mobile deposit thinking I would have some money to get groceries but then I find out that there was a hold on my whole pay check and the hold ... read more
Terrible bank. the app is constantly going down or having issues. I've had nothing but a horrible time banking with Huntington. Multiple times my cards just stopped working. They just suspended my debit card with absolutely 0 notification no email or anything. And I can't get any help until they call me tomorrow. So I have no access to my money.

AWFUL! Ongoing over a year. $22k (yes, THOUSAND) OVERCHARGE on property payoff. $9k (THOUSAND) MISSING from ***************** and they can't find it. The WORST customer service I have EVER had. I deposited a ******** check. This is not the first ******** check i have deposited here. I went to log in to see if the check had cleared and I could not log in. Then it would not let me change my password. I had received ZERO communication about what I am about to write... I called THEM, and was told they decided to close ALL of my accounts because they deemed the check to be fraudulent. NOTE: I have deposited with them from this bank multiple times. Absolutely terrible bank to work with---and I used to work at one! I'm only 24 yrs old and I feel like an old crabby person writing this review, but seriously! EVERY month since I have had my car loan with them (6), I have had issues. I set up my loan on auto-pay. It's easy and I don't have to worry about it, right? Wrong. Three of the six months, I got charged twice (over $800)--their solution was to mail me a check for the refund of one month. Ok, thanks, that will be awhile, but it's a solution. Awful customer service!!! I had an account with TCF when Huntington took them over. After dealing with them a couple of months I with **** ALL my money and closed my account. Months later I was still getting statements. I call twice to the home office and even sent them back the statement. I've tried every thing, still sending statements with monthly maintenance fee. PLEASE warn people about Huntington Bank

I concur with all the complaints regarding being a long time customer of local bank TCF and now just absolutely loathing Huntington National Bank The biggest issue right from the get go and still is an issue is when using their credit card to make purchases. Most places force me to use the card as a debit card so I have to enter my pin. Never had this issue with TCF.Now I am in the process of closing my Huntington accounts so I am transferring money to a local credit union. More issues with Huntington.
