I had an account with TCF that was transitioned to Huntington after they bought out TCF bank. I do not check this account often (it has a small amount of money compared to my account in ***** Fargo) and just noticed a monthly $40 fee. So despite the fact that maybe they did send letters saying they were going to do this I feel this is not good business practice to move someone from an account that has no fees to one that has a monthly $40 fee. Huntington National Bank on Highschool Rd in ************ has a manager named ***** that isnt the least bit concerned with keeping business for this location or helping resolve issues that they create. Dealing with him reminds me why I moved from ******* years ago. I also moved my Uncle years ago to take care of him because the way he was living was awful and this is the thanks I get from his financial institution that hes supported all these years! This location is pathetic and I warn you to never go here.

11/15/2022 If I could give 0 stars I certainly would. I deposited a check with my new company and was told the funds would be available next day. When they werent available I called and was told that my check was placed on hold (a new company/check- ok understandable) but they held the check and froze my entire account, told me funds would be available the following week (an entire week of hold?!). The work environment I experienced at TCF Bank/Huntington National Bank was harmful and unhealthy. I feel as if my mental disabilities were ignored and accommodations to help me were not offered, or even considered. We are asked to disclose our disability status, and as soon as I chose to, I was treated differently by my superiors. Do yourself a favor and stay FAR FAR AWAY from this bank. I purchased a vehicle and was provided financing through Huntington via the dealer. Never heard of them prior to this. Well, I didn't think there could be a bank worse than ***** Fargo and Huntington takes the cake. If there was a word I could use even more terrible than terrible that would be how I would describe their customer service. This is a terrible bank with apparently an awful reputation. The way they treated my family and my finances should be a CRIMINAL Offense...banks like this are why people need to pressure politicians for betterment. Don't give up, stand your ground...this is TOTALLY IRRESPONSIBLE...

I had a savings account with TCF that carried over to Huntington during the merge. The account only required $200 and was started by my son with his birthday money maybe 8 years ago. With the merge Huntington started Charging the account monthly for insufficient funds, when I became aware I asked for a full reimbursement and a few days later closed the account over the phone with their customer service center. Terrible customer service from *************************. Rude and would not return email or phone calls regarding my issue with my car loan. Beware when securing any type of auto loan with Huntington. They hide various fees into the monthly payment with disclosing them to you upfront. I found out the hard way when I went to make my first payment and it didnt match the loan amortization table. Now they just ignore my emails and calls and make no effort to resolve the situation. Truely a despicable company.

I have been with Huntington Bank now for about 5 years. I buy Cashier Checks in order to pay my rent. I put it in a lock box for my Realtor and they say they didn't get it , Huntington Bank said I had to wait ******************************************************************************************************************************* $31.00.
