I was scammed into a credit card that was supposed to be no interest for 12 months and then no higher than 16% interest after that and am now being charged 25% interest after a month and am told I was told the wrong info and it's for balance transfers only which is not what I was told. And they will not let me pay it off with a reputable credit card. Now I am expected to pay 25% interest. THIS BANK IS A SCAM! I HAVE DONE BANKING HERE FOR OVER 20 YEARS! THIS IS FRAUD!

I miss my local TCF branch. In my life I have encountered 2 situations where my card info has been stolen for fraudulent purchases. Once while I was a TCF member, and now, more recently, as a Huntington member. TCF, as expected, resolved my dispute and mailed me a new card all within 5 days of the incident. If you can ever imagine yourself in a situation when you might need to call your bank, please consider running away as fast as possible from Huntington Bank and picking another one.Every time I try to contact them, without fail, wait times are 30 min - 1 hour. Pre covid, post covid, always. Have been with them for 10+ years. My issues are always simple and usually consist of them blocking me from accessing funds in my account (for example, picking up a prescription at the pharmacy that costs too much) and denial due to fraud... read more

I would not recommend anyone to use this bank. I have had an account on hold after making a deposit a week ago. They released the deposit today but still wont let me have my money!!! Every time I call I get a different reasoning as to why!

Worst bank Ive ever dealt with! When it came time to wire transfer money out of our account to CLOSE ON OUR HOUSE, the manager of our local bank said No because I dont know you well enough & you dont come in enough WHAT?! I have been trying to make a withdraw since May and now it is September and have got nothing but a runaround. I cannot speak to anyone that can get anything done, all they do is leave ma a new case number. Then I call back later and all i get is another cast number. This bank has way too many fees. Huntington has a sub company that that I have that has my money (Newport) they are the ones that I have been trying to work with no results now for 6 Months.I suggest that no one should do any bussness with this bank!

By far the worst bank I have ever had. I disputed activity on my account, a hotel charged me and I disputed the charge because I canceled the reservation and never stayed there. I disputed with both the hotel and my bank. After I thought everything was handled I received my money back, I thought everything was completed. 3 months later they charge my account again. ******** had followed up with the dispute and I reported is as resolved. My father in law went to get a mortgage through Huntington Bank. ***** at the West Branch location told him that it wasn't a problem with it being his second home. He is wanting to live closer to town given his age and wanted to be closer to his DR and the normal essentials. Yesterday he had to pay for an inspection which we all know needs to be done, but from the being he told them it would be for a manufactured home.
