I've been going to the HG since the 90s. I used to ride in from Greenville and hang out, eat a Bad Trip and drink ESBs! HG was one of the reasons I moved to Columbia! Love everything about it! The food and service are great and the beer is the absolute best!

Great brew selection at a very reasonable price. Awesome ambiance. Dinner was very enjoyable as well. Easy place to strike up a conversation with total strangers.
Great food and atmosphere� Be sure to try the shrimp and grits!!
My husband and I used to go here when he was in grad school years ago. Went back last night and it was even better than we remembered it! Food, beer and service was awesome.
