Had my taxes completed at H&R Block and felt very uncomfortable throughout the process. The "Tax Professional" helping with my case did not seem knowledgeable and took three appointments to process my taxes (while also calling me at 9:30 PM on a Friday night with personal questions around my taxes). I accepted the tax forms provided (could not e-file) but was not confident with their contents and upon further review, found several errors that would likely have resulted in an IRS audit. ***** at the ************ ofc was the most incompetent and unwilling the di his job. Never return calls and did a power of attorney on my behalf and would not follow though. His words to wit: this is tax season and I am to busy to help, here is number, call yourself not my job. I am a 100 percent disabled veteran of 18 years. I was going to use H&R Block as I was unsure how to file married but separate. I sent over all my info and didnt realize it was going to cost half of what I was getting back in return so I ended up figuring it out myself and filing using turbo tax (which is what I normally do.) I filed Feb 4th, and now all of a sudden starting March 9, I keep getting phone calls from H&R Block in different states saying my file has been sent to them to help with my taxes. One of the worst customer service experiences ever. On hold for hours (over 3 hours) only to get representative who said "I don't know, I am just a CALL GIRL." Absolutely no knowledge of taxes nor the products they support. And yet the questions is so very simple. This company needs to go out of business as they are a real disservice.

I filed my 2020 return with H&R Block during 06/2021 which was not accepted by the *** (PIN issue). So, since I never got what I paid for which was the transmission of my taxes to the ***, I feel I'm owed a refund. Instead of crediting my account, or allowing me to refile at no charge, you simply kept my money. This is bad business, as there was no disclaimer provided to me at the beginning of the process, that this is your policy. I plan to take H&R to Small Claims Court for this.P. S. Got identity hacked using this company.tried calling four times.I got threw once and they put me on hold after I wanted to file a compliant and asked them what they were going to do about this problem never to answer the call again after waiting on phone for over an Hour.I will NOT ever recommend this company to anyone.EVER

Made an appointment to have my simple return done, 2 W2s. Made the appointment online with a specific tax pro, get there for my appointment and they put me with an individual to get experience. This simple review took over 1.5 hours to complete and so much for up front pricing, I was charged $145-insane! I brought my previous years return and said I was only having them done as I didnt know how to add the Covid 19 delayed retirement distribution added. Shorted tax returns from last year still ended up owing the comptroller. This year made an appointment and got there 10 minutes early, said I would have to wait an hour because they didn't think I was coming. Terrible service and greedy.
