we have tried over and over to contact h and r block and the automated system hang up on us every time. Their phone can system is useless to me..

Not only are they slow, they are not able to keep track of my documents to finish everything I needed done. Once reminded, they dragged their feet. I finally went in and asked for my property tax return to complete it myself. The tax prepper never even bothered to get up from his desk. Front desk staff was apathetic and handed me my documents. No offer to refund. Awful

I had my original tax preparation appointment with the H&R Block office at ***** ***************** Suite #** in ******************************** on March 10, 2022 at 7 pm EST. I arrived and after waiting over 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time I was finally linked up with my tax preparer who stated the previous client had taken longer than scheduled and since the office closed at 8 pm EST I was asked to re-scheduled to March 17th at 6 pm EST to allow for a two hour session due to my tax situation. When I dropped my taxes off the girl at the front desk and no idea what she was doing and had to keep interrupting the only tax preparer that was their with another customer. After a week they still hadn't been able to assign my file to a preparer because my taxes were to complex. I ended up just picking them up and taking them somewhere else but when I picked them up the guy just handed me my packet. I have been using H&R Block for several years without any problems but this current tax year has been nothing but problems I havent received my state refund yet and H&R Block doesnt wanna reissue another check.

We had an appointment for 10 am on 16 March which we were they at 5 till 10. The receptionist did not welcome us due to being on the phone. I stood in front of her for 5 minutes before she acknowledged me. At 20 minutes after 10 I asked if she had told our tax provider we were there to which her response was "she knows, she heard yall come in". Absolutely DO NOT use these idiots! They took our check and e-deposited it and then ALSO deposited the check. We have been waiting WEEKS and it has not been resolved.. We have dropped off copies of our statements, deposited checks and then still have not given us our fees back. This is criminal at this point as all they keep says is "we cannot give you a check, corporate has to do it and go thru channels".. yet they have to take your money right away to provide a service! I purchased the H&R Block premium tax software only to find out that they are not supporting form 8915-F. I have been waiting for them to update the software with this form, as they supported the form last year. When I contacted them, they were pretty much like sorry, not sorry. They did not offer a refund. The software is useless to me, as I cant file my return without that form. I have wasted time and money.
