Staff and employees are not safe because the ownership won't let staff wear masks.
This restaurant’s parent company Hillstone Restaurant Group is firing employees for wearing masks, even though it is a Dallas County and State of Texas requirement. They will never have my business again.

This restaurant has been a staple in my family since I was in my preteens and I’m in my 40’s now. My husband and I have wanted to support local businesses especially during the covid-19 pandemic. I was highly disappointed when we drove to north Dallas/Addison all the way from Rowlett just to find out they had a VERY limited menu and no French fries at all. Houston’s is one of our favorites. Even during this crazy time we couldn’t pass up a chance to support them by grabbing lunch and enjoying it tailgate style!
Years ago when I ate meat, I always ordered the Hickory burger. I wish they sold the sauce...I would buy bottles. Now I order Club Salad, adding blue cheese chunks. And of course must start off with spinach/artichoke dip and end with apple walnut cobbler a la mode. Now that all dining rooms are closed, I want to order pickup. I saw your new online pickup menu but the cobbler isn’t listed. Is it available? How your server employees can find temporary work quickly. 😥
