Not allowing your works to wear masks puts both your employees and your patrons at risk for infection with Covid 19. They, in turn, can infect others. This is dangerous. No one wants to get sick at a restaurant -- not food poisoning, and certainly not a disease with 1-2% mortality.
MASKS should be worn to prevent transmission to others, and this is their most important use for society. If we lower the likelihood of one person’s infecting another, the impact is exponential, so even a small reduction in those odds results in a huge decrease in deaths.
Unsafe work environment making dining unsafe for patrons as well.
